COMING IN 2018.......

We are looking forward to a fun and busy 2018.  We currently have 30 children enrolled in our programs.  They will be busy learning and developing through play based activities - it truly amazing to watch a shy 2 year old transform into a confident inquisitive 5 year old ready to head off to kindergarten.

In order for us to keep our services affordable to all families on Lopez Island, we ask the community at large to support our programs.  In 2018 there will be several opportunities to contribute.  We look forward to seeing you at one of the following events:

May 2018 - GiveBIG and GiveLOCAL - an opportunity to donate directly to support our programs.

Saturday May 19th - Great Pairings - once again Brent Charnley will be presenting the Lopez Vineyards wonderful wines to be paired with a 5 course meal prepared by talented local chefs.

Saturday September 29th - Wurst Golf and Music - put together a team (or come alone we'll find you a team) and come out and play a round to support the children.  Followed by excellent Octoberfest food and good music.

Saturday November 24th - Lopez Preschool Holiday Bazaar - bring your family and friends and get your holiday shopping wrapped up at the the Bazzaar - local artisan booths, great food, music and photos with Santa.

The children and families of Lopez thank you for your support😀

LOPEZ COOPERATIVE PRESCHOOL HOLIDAY BAZAAR

The 2017 Preschool Holiday Bazaar will be held on Saturday November 25th at the Lopez High School Gym. 10am - 3pm

Preparations are in full swing and we are expecting an exciting fun filled day. The gym will be filled with vendors selling beautiful handmade items, pretty much everything you need to complete your holiday shopping.  Vendors share 15% of their proceeds with the Preschool, so the more you shop the more we raise to support our program.

A bake sale, hot food and a raffle will round out the day.  All these proceeds go directly to the Preschool.  Raffle tickets will also be available for purchase in advance from preschool families and on select days at Lopez Village Market.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the community for all their support over the years.

VENDORS:  Registration forms for the Bazaar will be available from October 10th.  Please call Candace Downey (vendor coordinator)  360-468-2678 or Jane Hobbs 360-468-3896 for a vendor application.

THANK YOU TO OUR SUPPORTERS

The board, staff and families at the Lopez children's Center would like to express our appreciation for all the support we receive from the Lopez community and beyond.

The Preschool Bazaar and our annual appeal were both successful.  It would not be possible for the Children's Center to offer quality early learning experiences to the young children in our community without this support.

Thank you so much!

THANK YOU GOLFERS AND FRIENDS

Thank you to all our sponsors, donors, golfers, musicians and all others who came out on Saturday to the Wurst Golf and Music Festival & made it a successful event.

A fun time was had by all, the weather cooperated, the golfing result was nail biting,  the food was delicious & the music entertaining.

Thank you Lopez once again for showing how much you care about the young children on our island. Your support enables us to provide high quality early education experiences that prepare the children in our care for school and for life
